Horacio Martinez is a multidisciplinary artist based in Oxnard, California, known for his skillful exploration of graphite, ballpoint pen, oil painting, and tattoo art. His work is deeply rooted in Chicano art, comic books, and classical techniques, significantly influenced by his upbringing in Southern California and his cultural heritage.
Horacio studied art at Ventura College and refined his approach to realism and figurative work by attending workshops with esteemed artists such as Adrian Gottlieb, Steven Assael, and Odd Nerdrum, refining his perspective on technique, form and composition.
